BabyBloom: Pregnancy Tracker — Privacy Policy

Effective date: 26 August 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how Individual Entrepreneur Maksim Pozniak ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the BabyBloom: Pregnancy Tracker mobile application (the "App"). The App is intended for general wellness and information purposes and is not a medical device or a substitute for professional medical advice.

Data location: The App stores and processes data using Google Firebase in the United States and other service providers as described below.

1. Information We Collect

A) Information you choose to add

  • Pregnancy timeline details you enter (e.g., gestational reference date, estimated due date, gestational age in weeks/days, trimester, progress percent, embryo/baby age, cycle length, conception type).
  • Personal entries (e.g., notes, checklists, habits, calendar events).
  • Measurements you track (e.g., weight, belly circumference).
  • Account details if you create/sign in (e.g., email address, user ID).
  • Support messages or feedback you send us.

B) Information collected automatically

  • Device and app data (e.g., device model, operating system, app version, language).
  • App usage data (e.g., screens viewed, time in app, analytics events).
  • Diagnostics (e.g., crash reports, performance logs).
  • Approximate location inferred from IP address for analytics/localization.

We do not collect precise GPS location.

C) Purchases/subscriptions

Purchase and subscription metadata (e.g., product identifier, receipt or purchase token, subscription status) to provide access to premium features.

We do not collect content from your device outside the App (e.g., your photos, contacts, or messages) unless you explicitly choose to share/import something into the App.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide core App features (pregnancy tracking, notes, habits, checklists, reminders).
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the App (including analytics and crash diagnostics).
  • Manage purchases and subscriptions.
  • Communicate important notices and service updates.
  • Prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and protect the App and its users.

We do not use your health entries for advertising.

We do not sell personal data.

3. Health & Sensitive Information

The App allows you to enter pregnancy and wellness information. Adding this data is optional and under your control. We use it only to deliver App features you choose to use. We do not sell this data or share it with advertisers.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the App:

Service providers (processors).

  • Google Firebase (hosting, database, analytics, crash reports).
  • RevenueCat (subscription status and purchase/receipt token processing).

These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.

Legal, safety, and rights. If required by law or to protect our rights, users, or others.

Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to this Policy.

De-identified/aggregated data. We may use and share information that cannot reasonably identify you.

We do not share personal data with advertisers for targeted ads.

5. Your Choices & Controls

Add/Update/Delete entries. You control what you add. You can edit or delete your entries in the App.

Export. You can request an export of your data.

Delete account/data. You can request deletion of your account and associated data.

Uninstall. You can stop data collection by uninstalling the App (this does not automatically delete stored data—request deletion if needed).

Notifications. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings and within the App.

How to make a request: use Settings → Privacy (if available) or email inbox@babybloomapp.com.

We may take reasonable steps to verify requests to protect your data.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed to operate the App and for legitimate operational needs (e.g., security, debugging, accounting), then delete or de-identify it.

Typical periods:

  • Account & subscription records: while the account is active and up to 24 months after inactivity.
  • Analytics & diagnostics: generally 12–24 months.
  • Backups: removed on a rolling schedule under our backup policy.

You can request deletion at any time (see Your Choices & Controls).

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

9. International Transfers

Although the business is registered in Armenia, data is stored and processed primarily in the United States (Firebase). We limit access to personnel and service providers who need it to operate the App.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App and update the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
